I send my sincere greetings to you, the members of the Board of Association of Ukrainian Banks, and its executive directorate on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of establishment of this powerful and authoritative bank association of Ukraine.
Being established in the period of systemic social transformations, your organization played a crucial role in the development of the national banking system, making a substantial contribution into the financial and economic development of the independent Ukrainian State.
It is symbolic that the Association not only consolidates actions of commercial banks and protects their interests, but also focuses its attention on the improvement of legislation, and normative and legal base in the banking sector, strengthening of its economic conditions, and extension of partnership with foreign banks.
I am convinced in further growth of the prestige and authority of your bank association. I believe that complexities facing Ukrainian economy will encourage the members of the Association for hard work.
